Educational ? Lottery

Hnuff_postHey, I’m in favor of a good thing. Especially when it comes to kids. After all, their potential—regardless of their roots—is unlimited.

So, is it just me, or am I the only one wondering where the millions (billions?) generated by the educational lottery has gone? Certainly not into the schools. I mean, whose education, or what kind of education, exactly are they talking about?

Please, someone—not Goodie—tell me if I’m wrong about this.

  1. You’re not wrong for wondering. In fact, only 28 cents of each dollar goes to education—and that’s not even getting into how the education funding from the lottery has allowed the state to cut back a bit. I addressed the first point in ~> this piece in The Digitel.
